Charlottenburg Palace - Berlin's largest royal summer palace. This large, ornate palace was constructed in the late seventeenth century. The palace houses a 200-year-old mausoleum that respectfully serves as burial grounds to several people of royalty. Take in the eye-catching statues at the grand entrance to the palace. There are classical musical performances at the palace even today, bringing history to life. The palace still remains true to the architecture applied by the Prussian Kings who had it built several-hundred years ago.
