An incredible number of United States citizens, nearly half according to some sources, can follow their family history back to Ellis Island. Beaux-arts architecture, popular in the late 19th century, was the inspiration behind the creation of this stunning structure. Visitors can take the journey of our ancestors through the grand hallways of the present day Immigration Museum.
