We've just come back from Lisbon but we watched this before visiting and it really helped! (Thanks Ms. Tamulonis!) Belem was one of my most favourites places in Lisbon - the Monastry was gorgeous and the Tower is a definite *must visit* as well! I'd even say they were better than Castelo de St. Jorge! The custard tarts were heavenly (much better than ones found in central Lisbon) and for lunch - I would highly recommend the pita-bread shop a few doors down from the Patisserie. Their food is also out of this world and is very inexpensive too!
